The bigger the group, the better. ViedME Lazy Step Challenge can get even the most sedentary friend outside.
There is nothing quite like competing with colleagues at work. Natural, playful workplace rivalry can be a brilliant teambuilding tool.
You can play Step Challenge with people anywhere in the world. Share the special invite code with the right people or communities and the competition can start. You decide who gets in, with a strong focus on data safety.
Why ViedME works
A step challenge app works best when it is about real people, private group energy, walking goals, and the tiny battles that make everyone check the leaderboard again.
Create a Lazy Steps room and get a unique invite code that you can customize during setup. Then share it with your community. You decide who enters your private room.
Every step can become something more with ViedME. Charity mode is designed to be highly flexible, so it can fit the room owner’s goals and the cause behind the challenge.
To reduce unhealthy strategizing and support the desire to compete, synchronization is designed to be transparent. Sync and you immediately see the latest leaderboard.
We tuned the details so the challenge feels simple even for people who are not deeply used to technology.
Lazy Step

Daily battles with friends
Even a small walk can twist the whole leaderboard.
Every avatar is another real person in the room. One walk can change the mood of the whole challenge.

How it works
01
Room setup takes only a moment, you stay in control of the whole competition, and you can adjust the settings later whenever you need.
02
The more competitors, the better. Every friend, colleague, or familiar face adds another spark to the rivalry. And yes, one sync can shake the entire leaderboard.
03
ViedME keeps the leaderboard clear, playful, and built for healthy competition. Each participant can also see summary stats such as the highest total or the most consistent walker.
Inside the app
Setup is simple and flexible, so you stay in control of the whole competition. Choose the room name, description, rules, step counting mode, charity mode, challenge dates, invite code, and communication channels. If you do not create your own code, ViedME creates one for you. ViedME is not responsible for third-party content.
During setup, decide whether ViedME should count all collected steps, including manual entries, or only truly walked steps. If your group wants to include cycling or swimming, you can allow all steps and agree on a fair conversion. For the fairest challenge, we recommend using only truly walked steps.
The room overview keeps the important information and controls in one place, so the competition stays transparent and easy to manage.
Then the syncing begins, with healthy tension, playful rivalry, and small ranking changes that keep the group coming back.
Charity mode
Every ViedME challenge type has a charity mode shaped around its own game mechanics. In Lazy Step rooms, ViedME can turn completed step milestones into special ViedME coins with real-world value. Friends still compete, while the room also sees the total amount for donation grow.
Room owners can also add extra coins for mini-games, effort, or moments outside ViedME, such as a photo contest in WhatsApp or a Facebook group, a guessing game, or any side activity where the winner should boost the room total.

Room options
The fairest mode for competitions where movement from a phone or watch counts and manual entries are ignored.
A more flexible mode for groups whose members also do other sports. The room owner should define a fair metric for converting activities such as a 20 km bike ride into steps.
Every participant can help someone else with every step. That makes going outside feel a little better.
FAQ
